The gap isn’t just widening, it’s looking like a different league entirely, and some teams are already waving the white flag. At this point, you’re either hunting a title… or quietly tanking and hoping nobody notices.

Weekly 6 Weekly Category Winner The Week 6 category winner is going to be the reigning 2025 UTI Chamption Dixon Cider with an insane 0.995 WHIP. Congrats!! Thats 25 bones

BB's Bold Team vs BTA Boyz

Result: BB’s Bold Team didn’t even break a sweat — a cruise-control win against a BTA squad that never showed up.
BB's Bold Team 10.5 – 5.5 BTA Boyz

BB’s Bold Team keeps rolling as they cruise past the struggling BTA Boyz 10.5–5.5 to improve to 5–1 and hold down 2nd place. It wasn’t their most dominant showing, but against an ice-cold opponent, they didn’t need to be. The story of the week was volume—BB’s piled up 300 at-bats compared to just 212 from BTA Boyz, making it nearly impossible to compete across hitting categories.

BTA Boyz showed some life early in the season, but over the past month they’ve completely stalled out and look to have gone on autopilot. To be fair, we get it—life’s busy with kids and long work days, and that comes first. But if BTA Boyz want to get back to a competitive level, a mini rebuild is needed. The lack of roster moves, poor IL management, and a pitching staff that somehow racked up nine losses in a single week have really hurt them. Turning things around starts with cleaning up the roster and actually working the waiver wire—because right now, this team looks like it’s in desperate need of some serious TLC. But i must say they are finally on the right track by finally ripping their first shot of the season. Only like 4 more now lol

League takeaway: Volume still wins in this league. BB’s didn’t need a monster performance—they just showed up and outworked their opponent. Meanwhile, BTA Boyz are a reminder that even a decent roster can fall apart fast without active management.

John's Super Team vs Goodyear Gila Monsters

Result: Goodyear Gila Monsters put on a clinic — John’s Super Team never stood a chance once the week got rolling.
Goodyear Gila Monsters 11.5 – 4.5 John's Super Team

The battle of the BFFs comes to an end as John’s Super Team saw their four-game win streak sizzle away as they fall to the powerhouse Goodyear Gila Monsters 11.5–4.5. It never really felt close as John’s Super Team was chasing all week and i know that man was looking for some late stat corrections, but alas, those never came. Could you blame him though for wishing? Those losses to that bum Goodyear STINK. But y'all know what they say.... THAT'S SHOWBIZZ BABY!!!!! But hey, there was a VERY brief moment where Johnboy nearly clawed back into it, but it didn’t last long before Goodyear took full control again. Hate to see it Johnboy.

Despite the lopsided score, John’s Super Team actually put up respectable hitting numbers. The problem? When you’re up against one of the league’s most dangerous offenses, “respectable” just isn’t enough—you’ve got to match firepower, and this week, Goodyear brought far more of it. And I honestly would have thought that Goodyear pitching staff would start crumbling away with the loss of ace Tarik Skubal, but it still looks VERY sharp

League takeaway: Goodyear isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Even without Tarik Skubal, the pitching is holding strong and the offense keeps overwhelming opponents. As for John’s Super Team, this was a reminder that win streaks are nice, but against the league’s elite, you need more than “almost.”

Me So Heorny vs Gunnarrhea

Result: They may be retarded, smell bad, and look weird, but the streak lives on — Me So Heorny survives and stays undefeated.
Me So Heorny 9.5 – 6.5 Gunnarrhea

Me So Heorny stays undefeated through Week 6, narrowly avoiding a case of Gunnarrhea with a 9.5–6.5 win, and continues to hold down that 1st place seed!! The 2023 champs are back and looking sharper than ever, and we can say a lot of this thanks to the breakout season from superstar Andy Pages! Shoulda let em trade him away for Trout lol. But yeah… this one stings for the commish. I'm pressing the keyboard keys a little harder for this writeup than I did for the other ones. FUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKK MAAAAAAAAAAN. God Dammit. Gunnarrhea dug themselves into an early hole but battled all the way back to tie things up by Friday, setting up a tense weekend finish.

But thanks to those assholes Aaron Nola and Luis Castillo both selling, Gunnarrhea blew it. Aaron fucking Nola could't even qualify for a win when being up by like 9 runs against the Rockies. In reality it was more than that just those two but fuck those guys. Don't need those bums. Gunnarrhea never sniffed a lead against the last remaining undefeated team either, but we kept it close and kept the heart rate at a steady 120 BPM Friday - Sunday. Maaaaan I wanted to take that undefeated streak away too. I even spammed all those waiver pick ups to scare y'all on Sunday and you both didn't even make one counter... You buncha cool cats you....

League takeaway: Even the top team can be pushed to the edge, but finishing matters. Gunnarrhea proved they can hang with the best, but until they start closing out matchups like this, it’s just another “almost.” Meanwhile, Me So Heorny keeps finding ways to win—and that’s what separates contenders from everyone else.

Mactown MacDaddies vs You Don't Know Bo

Result: A statement week from Mactown — when they’re hot, they’re untouchable.
Mactown MacDaddies 12.5 – 3.5 You Don't Know Bo

Holy fucking shit...... The Mactown MacDaddies what a turnaround!!! A league leading 20 homeruns, 52 RBIs and 142 TBs and pairing that with a 2.49 ERA and 1.15 WHIP is wild. Man on man these guys are looking like a serious contender now! Who woulda thought!! Putting that auction money on Munitaka was probably the smartest thing you've EVER done in your entire life... and picking up Davis Martin?! One of the top pitchers in the league?! THE SOX AND THE MACTOWN MACDADDIES ARE KILLING IT BABY! About fucking time!!

It's too bad you wasted that powerhouse week on your matchup against the 2025 GM of the Year, You Don't Know Bo. Bo continues his colder than cold streak and he didn't even put up a fight. Actually, it's not even a colder than cold streak, it's like forgetting the league exists streak. Homie's got 3 guys on the IR in his active roster, 4 IR spots open, and one of taken IR spots has an active guys on it.... And on top of that he's got 3 open bench spots. He must have taken a page from the BTA Boyz handbook. But at this point, it either looks like the app got deleted or there’s a full-on tank job in play for that Roch Cholowsky pick. Either way, this matchup was over before it even started. Also, WHERE THEM SHOTS AT BOYYYYYYY

League takeaway: The MacDaddies just proved they’ve got contender-level upside if everything clicks. The scary part? If this becomes even semi-consistent, the rest of the league has a real problem. Meanwhile, Bo’s situation is the opposite—until that roster gets cleaned up, he’s basically handing out free wins.

This is Mizerable vs Dixon Cider

Result: Dixon Cider flips the script — pitching dominates and the champ reminds everyone why they’re still the team to beat.
Dixon Cider 10 – 6 This is Mizerable

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the frontrunner for the Roch Cholowsky pick stays red hot as they lose their 6th game in a row. This one being to the 2025 reigning champion, Dixon Cider. Dixon Cider was in control all week and this no shock to anyone. But what's actually a shock is that throughout the past, Dixon Cider was feared for their scary offesnive power. Now the entire thing is flipped.

Dixon Cider put up VERY average hitting stats but posted 70 innings with an absolutely insane 1.28 ERA, 0.995 WHIP, .176 BAA, and 83 strikeouts. Guys... this is over 70 fucking innings pitched. That is absolutely INSANE!!!! That shit was like my pitching numbers in career at Westside. But holy shit.

To make it even tougher, This Is Mizerable didn’t even have a bad week. They posted a strong 2.29 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, .195 BAA, and 69 Ks, along with above-average hitting numbers. Against most teams, that’s probably a win. But this week? Not against Dixon Cider. At this point, it’s starting to feel like the fantasy gods have already decided that Roch might just be destined to be Mizerable.

League takeaway: Championship teams find multiple ways to win. Dixon proving they don’t need elite hitting to dominate is a scary sign for the league. Meanwhile, This Is Mizerable keeps stacking solid weeks with nothing to show for it—at some point, bad luck turns into a lost season, and that Roch pick is looking more and more inevitable.
